We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Scribe to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Medical Scribe will work directly with our physicians and nurse practitioners to document patient visits in real-time, using the eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical records system. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient encounters in eClinicalWorks (eCW) during examinations and consultations
- Record patient history, physical exams, procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Assist in managing and tracking lab orders, imaging results, referrals, and follow-ups
- Maintain up-to-date and complete patient charts
- Support providers with administrative tasks and workflow optimization
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and front office team
Required Qualifications:
- Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is required
- Bilingual in Spanish or Arabic is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in women’s health
- Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical/OBGYN setting preferred
- Excellent typing skills (minimum 60 WPM) and comfort with computer systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or college coursework in a health-related field preferred
