Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) Clinician to provide individualized, evidence-based interventions to clients recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI), head trauma, or other neurologically based cognitive impairments. This position supports clients across our expanding neurocognitive rehabilitation and personal injury service lines.
The clinician will help clients restore cognitive functions, improve daily life functioning, and build compensatory strategies to manage impairments in areas such as memory, attention, executive functioning, and processing speed. Services may be delivered remotely or in-person; our Phoenix office is available for in-person sessions as desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy to clients with cognitive impairments related to TBI, head injury, or neurological conditions (most brain injuries stemming from Motor Vehicle Collisions).
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on neuropsychological evaluations, clinical intake, and functional needs.
- Target cognitive domains such as executive functioning, memory, attention, and reasoning through structured, goal-oriented interventions.
- Collaborate closely with psychologists, neuropsychologists, clinical coordinators, and referring providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate clients and families on strategies to enhance cognitive functioning and promote independence in daily life.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and case planning when appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Clinical experience working with clients recovering from TBI, or other neurological injuries.
- Strong understanding of cognitive domains and evidence-based CRT techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with virtual service delivery platforms and EHR documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology, Neuropsychology, or Physical Therapy (e.g., PsyD, PhD, DPT).
- Board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy (NCS) or equivalent neuro-focused credential.
- Familiarity with structured CRT software or computerized cognitive training programs.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- PsyPACT licensure or AZ license with willingness to pursue PsyPACT authorization.
