Position Summary

This role ensures a world-class onboarding experience by partnering across departments to help new hires integrate into the company’s culture, feel welcomed, and build the foundation for long-term success. As an Onboarding Ambassador, you will create powerful first impressions, offer personalized guidance, and provide meaningful connection points that empower new team members to achieve early performance milestones and build strong, lasting relationships. Duties And Responsibilities

  • Delivers a world-class onboarding experience through customized support, orientation programming, and strategic alignment with team goals to ensure smooth integration from preboarding through the first 90 days.
  • Serves as a dedicated guide and trusted resource to new hires, offering personalized support, advice, and encouragement to help accelerate ramp-up and performance.
  • Supports the coordination and facilitation of targeted, compliance and role-specific training programs, ensuring new hires receive the necessary tools to excel while tracking their progress and optimizing learning experiences.
  • Creates early connections to help immerse new hires into Empower’s culture, building community, and facilitating introductions with key team members and leaders.
  • Champions continuous improvement by assisting with the collection and analysis of onboarding feedback and proactively recommending enhancements to the employee experience.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating new hire onboarding programs, ideally within a high-growth or rapidly evolving organization.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
  • PHR preferred; SHRM-CP strongly preferred.
