Students are improving their academic performance, strengthening their interpersonal skills, and experiencing opportunities that may otherwise be prohibitively expensive for their families. Our programs help combat summer learning loss, childhood obesity and allow students to express themselves in ways that make a difference in their communities.
Immediate positions available in the South Sacramento area! Great experience for students and those considering a career in teaching, tutoring or working with children and teenagers. Orientation and ongoing training provided.
Sacramento area non-profit organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to act as an Instructional Aide for Empowering Possibilities Unlimited in elementary and middle Schools. Must be interested in working for our after-school program. The Instructional Aide leads a group of approximately 20 students through the after-school curriculum and program, providing for mentoring, safety, and engagement. Before submitting resume, please make sure you have:
- Availability for a schedule Mon-Fri generally from 1:30PM-6:15 PM; earlier on school minimum days, every Thursday. MUST be available Monday thru Friday!
- Satisfactory background check.
- TB clearance within the past 3 years.
- Experience working with elementary and middle students is a plus.
- Classroom management experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Schedule generally follows school district calendar and may be subject to summer break and other temporary shutdowns.
