Overview
As a Senior Systems Administrator the candidate will be expected to support the department platforms, desktops systems, kiosk in various locations, responding, documenting, and closing to tickets submitted. Also, partnering and updating department specific Multiple app installations across all machines.
The Senior Systems Administrator shall perform work requests for tasks assigned by the service manager, team manager/lead or team coordinator, within the work areas requested. All assignments shall be accounted for by appropriate project/task time charging reporting structures. Continuous adherence to Corporate Cyber policies for technical work is required for all services. Continuous adherence to Security and Safety directives is required. General and specific tasks noted in the task’s sections, as assigned by the Customer team Manager/Lead or Service Manager, are required.

Responsibilities
- Perform Systems Administration functions – add users, add devices, add printers, and monitoring
- Perform end-user application support
- Document work status in accordance with team standards
- Support file services, network configuration and application hosting
- Configuring firewalls, network and clusters
- Configure VMWare/VXRail
- Perform manual quality assurance testing
- Developing scripts for automating system administration tasks
Qualifications
- BS/BA or related field and two (2) years related experience or AA and 4 years experience
- Experience performing installations/patching of operating system, software installation, and system backups - data recovery.
- End-User Installation and Configuration Application Support
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other IT professionals
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Provide customer with tailored system setups based on requirements
- 3 years Windows OS experience
Desired Skills:
- Have a IT medical support background
- Developing scripts for automating services tasks
- Experience with quality assurance testing
- Experience in Virtual/Cloud Deployments
