Encore Talent Solutions is currently seeking an Accounting & Financial Analyst for a position located onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
Job Description
The Accounting & Financial Analyst provides timely and accurate data vital for monthly close and financial statement presentation. Accounting & Financial Analysts research and analyze income and expenditures to help the client make decisions, write reports, and monitor performance. This position will work closely with the finance team in driving profitability through analysis of efficiencies and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze the monthly financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual budget
- Complete monthly budget to actual variance analysis for overhead expenses
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business units and functional teams
- Prepare, review, and communicate results of monthly profitability for assigned business units
- Participate in special projects and create additional ad-hoc analysis
- In-depth understanding of concepts and principles in the accounting and finance functions
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent discipline
- Experience: 3 years of accounting or finance related experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights.
