Your focus will be on fixed assets management, from journal entries to account reconciliations, aligning processes with month-, quarter-, and year-end reporting. Collaborate closely with various business sectors to provide crucial information at strategic points.
Core Responsibilities
- Delve into GAAP Guidelines specifically for Fixed Assets management.
- Conduct thorough research on GAAP principles related to asset life cycles, including additions, valuations, and retirements.
- Verify the existence and status of organizational assets.
- Partner with project managers to ensure up-to-date asset tracking, from acquisitions to disposals.
- Evaluate the tax and audit implications associated with capitalization timing.
- Utilize your expertise with NetSuite for asset management tasks.
- Address any general accounting inquiries proactively and efficiently.
- Execute monthly financial tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Compile timely and accurate reports on varied timelines: daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
Beyond Core Duties
- Engage in projects aimed at enhancing departmental efficiency.
- Fulfill additional related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience within Fixed Assets.
- CPA designation preferred, or eligibility to take the CPA exam.
- Proficient in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel applications.
