Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse's Aides to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in the Emergency Room and Inpatient Floor. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Med/Surg Department: Full Time 11:00pm - 7:30am with rotating coverage for the 3:00 - 11:00pm shift. Rotating weekend and Holidays.
- Emergency Department: Full Time 7:00am - 3:30pm. Rotating weekends and Holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help with mobility tasks, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology related to emergency medicine and inpatient care
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments typical of hospital medicine or emergency settings.
- Active CPR Certification
- Must be able to provide ChildLine and FBI Fingerprinting clearance certificates.
