Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room and Inpatient Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols to ensure optimal health outcomes. EMHS is a Critical Access Hospital giving you a unique opportunity to treat a broad range of injuries and illnesses keeping your skills current. *Bonus eligible for full-time positions. Half-time positions eligible for $7,500.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine healthcare needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including venipuncture and catheter care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- A valid Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania is required.
- Experience in Emergency Room and/or Medical Surgical care is preferred.
- Must possess a CPR and ACLS certification.
- Must possess a PALS certification (for ER candidates only).
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations and managing complex patient needs is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
