Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, medical histories, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Administer basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
- Perform coding for medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support the clinical team in the operation of equipment within the clinic.
- Providing instructions to patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies.
- Scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance and billing information.
Experience
- Familiarity with outpatient care processes, coding systems, and electronic health records is advantageous.
- Basic life support certification is required (additional certifications related to specific areas such as OR or trauma care are a plus).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
