What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Endodontic Office?
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
- Update and maintain electronic health records using TDO software
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Manage and organize dental supplies and equipment
- Provide support to the front desk staff as needed, including but not limited to, answering phones and scheduling patients
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using dental software for medical documentation
- Knowledge of endodontic dentistry is a plus
