Role Responsibilities
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all disciplines (such as project management, legal, marketing, pricing management, product management, services, finance/accounting, and customer) to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing strategies to perform financial/commercial analysis and potential risks for contracts to achieve revenue goals.
- Analyze commercial sections of proposals and create pricing evaluations. Prepare contract recommendations, and present recommendations to project team and/or customer.
- Lead internal stakeholders’ meetings, conduct pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents.
- Perform contract management post-award (governance) activities by evaluating customers' performance under the contract, volume adherence, and contract change management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and affiliates to analyze potential risks on possible contract changes, particularly from a commercial level.
- Perform closeout of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, invoices and coordinate completion of customer performance evaluations.
Qualification Profile
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience and/or training in Contract Management or related experience with analysis and reporting functions
- Self-motivated professional with strong analytical and organizational skills, demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong computer skills required, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills, working knowledge of SAP, and exposure to Salesforce.com (desired)
- Ability and willingness to change, being curious and open to new things, ability to adopt and promote change while thinking and acting positively in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to perform financial and commercial analysis, read and interpret contracts and commercial documents, and demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and maintain workflows and procedures, and be able to multi-task and prioritize to achieve goals
- Must be cross-functional process oriented and support teamwork and team spirit
