Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Shift: Monday – Friday,8AM-5PM with occasional rotations on the weekend

Summary – basic function of the role

The Customer Service Representative for Antigo, WI serves as the main contact for all Customer Service functions for our intercompany and third-party market. This position maintains and manages assigned customer accounts as well as support to the end user.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Effectively communicate with Customers, distributors, and operations for all inquiries via telephone, computer or fax. Must receive, and process the details of Customer orders.
  2. Provide pricing and delivery information upon request. Facilitate product returns as necessary.
  3. Expedite product shipments with distributors, territory managers, and other functions of the company.
  4. Address and resolve internal/external Customer questions and problems ensuring the highest level of Customer satisfaction.
  5. Assist leader in maintaining the integrity of Customer files.
  6. Assist, coordinate and provide feedback between the manufacturing locations and customer to coordinate customer order fulfilment.
  7. Remain current in company products, promotions, and pricing. Provide product literature upon request.
  8. Assist and cover for customer repair orders when required.
  9. Track and report results to other departments and external Customers. Perform all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

 Skills and Competencies

  1. Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  2. Demonstrated passion for customer service and desire to help others required.
  3. Excellent time management, organization, and follow up skills required.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities including 70+ inbound calls per day, while maintaining a positive, courteous, and professional attitude.
  5. Demonstrated ability to apply effective intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications: Word and Excel.
  6. Call Center or Inside Sales experience preferred.
  7. Ability to form and strengthen relationships with assigned customer accounts and outside sales reps.
  8. Knowledge of or exposure to Oracle is preferred.
  9. Knowledge of industrial products and / or export processes is preferred.
  10. Strong oral and written communication skills required, especially as they pertain to communicating with Customers, sales representatives, operations, marketing, and cross -functional teams.
  11. Pleasant phone skills and service-minded attitude required.
  12. Demonstrated ability to engage in results orientated activity.
  13. Must be self-motivated, have good analytical skills, work well individually or as a team member.
  14. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel are required.

 

Education Requirements:

            High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience Requirements:

            Knowledge or exposure to EMS or Oracle is preferred; experience or high exposure to industrial products is a plus

Physical Demands

Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time.

Work Environment

Employee’s work is a combination of an office environment and a warehouse environment, which is subject to loud noise, various temperatures, and workplace hazards. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Basic PPE is required while working in the warehouse: safety glasses, gloves, and steel toe boots.
