POSITION INFORMATION
Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible to manage specifically assigned customer projects from RFQ to hand-over to the customer.
Duties as outlined in the sales process matrix
- After project assignment, definition of the project scope with external sales and customer
- Attends customer visits as required
- Works closely with leading BU on clarification of feasibility and pricing as required
- Works closely with other EUS departments on quote clarification as required
- Generates and revises quotes for the scope of the project or coordinates the creation of the quote with other sales team members
- Creates and maintains a timeline for project
- Processes orders, monitors milestones in the order progress and communicates to all stakeholders
- Assess feasibility and pricing impact of order changes and communicates to the customer
- Processes and documents order changes
- Engages in direct communication with customers as required
- Schedules and leads design review meetings with the customer as required
- Coordinates and participates in FATs as required
- Coordinates the hand-off of ownership to CSD
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Training Requirement:
- Two to four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Outside of ENGEL
- Minimum ten years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment
- Plastics industry background preferred
- Successful sales skills demonstrated, including new account development preferred

- Proven abilities as Local Salesman or Project Manager for ENGEL
