POSITION SUMMARY

Engineered Products is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Greenville, SC. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production environment by ensuring conformance to blueprint requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of mechanical inspection and proficiency in the use of manual & visual inspection equipment: i.e., Calipers, gauges & calipers to take accurate measurements.

Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics and how they relate to the finished product.

• Familiarize yourself with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
• Responsible for communicating with department leads when quality issues are found or when parts have been approved for production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Other Duties as assigned.

• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Experience in inspection and quality.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various positions and environments.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, use Caliper
• Experience in inspecting welds a plus

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts in and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.

• MUST BE ABLE TO READ TAPE MEASURE, READ BLUEPRINTS, AND HAVE DEEP QA KNOWLEDGE IN MANUFACTURING
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Experience in inspection and quality.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various positions and environments.
