Job Summary:
Performs general transport of patients and charts in all areas of the Medical Center while inspiring confidence and trust with patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining high standards of professionalism, conduct, and exhibiting excellent service excellence skills. Presents a courteous, compassionate, and positive image of oneself and the Medical Center.

Hours: 6am-2pm
Job Essentials:
- Safely transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed throughout the hospital.
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality during transport.
- Respond promptly to transport request using dispatch systems.
- Maintain schedules and minimize wait times for patients and depatment.
- Operate stretcher, wheelchairs, beds, and oxygen tanks safely.
- Clean and sanitize transport equipment after each use.
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff, dispatcher, and other departments.
- Follow all infection control protocols.
- Ability to walk long distances, push/pull heavy equipment, and assist with patient movement. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times.
