Reports to: Director of Production
Type: Full Time - Hourly
Overview:
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be in charge of all outgoing shipments. You will work directly with our shipping carriers to ensure products go to the appropriate location using the correct method of shipping.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Boxing orders and ensuring correct items are in with shipment
- Print and label all boxes correctly
- Work with carriers to ensure packages are shipped correctly
- Manage all aspects of shipping
- Working between departments to ensure customer expectations are met regarding shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Basic understanding on how to use word processing and spreadsheet documents
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and multi-task responsibilities;
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work with a variety of personalities;
- Work in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment;
- Must be able to manage time appropriately;
- Dependable and self-motivated;
- Past Shipping experience is preferred;
Working Conditions:
Work is performed largely in an office environment with minimal chance for personal injury. Frequent repetitive use of hands pushing, pulling, and stuffing products in boxes. Will stand constantly throughout the shift.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with our products and understanding of components
