Job Description EBAD seeks an accomplished professional for the position of Contracts Administration Manager, reporting to the VP of Programs for EBAD. This position will be in Simsbury, CT. Responsibilities: The Contracts Administration Manager is a key part of the management team which represents 4 different market segments and supports sales, program management, engineering and manufacturing. Responsible for all aspects of managing a team of contract administrators and supporting the business from contract award through invoicing and collections Ensuring company compliance and training around all contractual requirements and federal regulations Assuring appropriate communication between the company and its customers while maintaining a formal record documenting EBAD contractual commitments Establish and maintain processes that ensure that contractual agreements with EBAD customers facilitate clear understanding of commitments Represents the Contracts organization with peer organizations and customers to develop plans, negotiate terms, monitor progress, and resolve problems. Ensures all records related to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ITAR, and EAR are properly logged and retained. Drive continuous improvement activity and maintain post improvement metrics Lead training and standard work creation and execution for the contracts team Drive EBI values throughout the organization Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related business or technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred. 5 years of contracts management experience in a manufacturing environment. 2 years of experience leading and managing a team 5 years working with government and commercial aerospace, defense contracts or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPCM or CFCM is preferred One of more years of export compliance experience preferred Must be a U.S. citizen. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills suitable for interaction with customers and various levels of management. Efficiency, attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective time management skills Capable of dealing with multiple internal and external (domestic/international) customers Proficient with Microsoft office suite software Preferred skills: Adaptable people leader who can build a cohesive teaming environment.
