Front and Back Office Medical Assistant

Overview

ENT Group of Los Angeles is a well-established, multi-specialty otolaryngology practice serving the San Fernando Valley. Our Tarzana location features a collaborative clinical team of board-certified ENT physicians, physician assistants, and audiology professionals, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Services include general ENT, hearing and balance care, sinus and nasal disorders, voice and swallowing, head and neck conditions, thyroid care, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Responsibilities

• Data entry into the patient portal
• Answering phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Assisting providers with scheduling, injections, and other assigned duties
• New patient and follow-up clinical note documentation
• Rooming patients and assisting with patient transport in and out of the office
• Chart preparation
• Maintaining an organized, clean, and orderly office environment
• Assisting with in office procedures
• Instrument sterilization
• Instrument preparation for in-office procedures
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and products

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, training as a medical assistant, or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of California
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required
• Prefer applicants who are conversationally fluent in both English and Spanish

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
