This position requires travel between our Decatur, Snellville, and Sandy Springs locations.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care and support medical operations in a clinical setting.
**Duties:**
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, assisting with medical examinations, and administering medications under supervision.
- Handle patient intake by recording medical history and updating patient information in electronic health records.
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide basic wound care.
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as EKGs, X-rays, and phlebotomy procedures.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance claims.
**Skills:**
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support techniques.
- Proficiency in conducting vital sign assessments and administering medications.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and hospital medicine protocols.
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures and interpret results accurately.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Experience in providing medical administrative support within a hospital or clinical setting.
