Commission-Based Business Development Manager (3PL / Logistics)

Company: Enterprise Order Solutions (EOS)

Industry: Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehousing & Fulfillment

Compensation: Commission-based (no base salary; optional short-term recoverable draw)

Location: Remote – U.S.-based (national sales territory)

About Enterprise Order Solutions (EOS)

Enterprise Order Solutions (EOS) is a multi-facility 3PL providing warehousing, fulfillment, inventory management, and value-added logistics services across multiple U.S. locations.

We operate with strong operational discipline, clearly defined SOPs, and a proprietary Warehouse Management System designed to support scalable, compliant, and high-accuracy operations.

We are intentionally selective about the customers we onboard.

Operational fit, margin discipline, and long-term partnerships matter more to us than volume at any cost.

The Role

EOS is seeking an experienced Commission-Based Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new customer acquisition.

This is a hunter role focused on sourcing, qualifying, and onboarding operationally compatible and profitable 3PL customers.

This is not a traditional base-heavy sales role and not a junior sales position.

The ideal candidate has prior logistics or supply chain sales experience and is comfortable earning primarily through commission and residual income.

What You Will Do

• Identify and pursue new 3PL opportunities aligned with EOS capabilities

• Qualify prospects based on order volume, SKU profile, service complexity, and margin potential

• Work directly with EOS leadership to validate pricing and operational fit

• Sell recurring warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics services — not one-off projects

• Build a sustainable pipeline of long-term, profitable accounts

• Represent EOS accurately and professionally without over-promising services or SLAs

What You Will Not Do

• Sell low-margin or operationally disruptive accounts

• Discount pricing without approval

• Promise custom workflows or system changes without internal review

• Hand off unqualified or misaligned deals to operations

Compensation Structure

• Commission-dominant compensation (no base salary)

• Commission paid on gross profit from billed and collected revenue

• Higher commission during initial client ramp

• Ongoing residual income for the life of the account

• Margin thresholds and approval gates apply

• Optional short-term recoverable draw may be available for the right candidate

This role offers significant long-term upside for professionals who prioritize quality accounts and recurring income over short-term wins.

Ideal Background

Experience in one or more of the following:

• 3PL, warehousing, or fulfillment sales

• Freight brokerage or freight forwarding sales

• Independent logistics sales agent or consultant

• Ecommerce or supply chain professional with an established network

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience selling logistics, 3PL, or supply chain services

• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, fulfillment workflows, and SLAs

• Comfortable operating in a commission-based compensation structure

• Ability to qualify deals beyond surface-level revenue

• Professional, disciplined, and transparent sales approach

This Role Is Not a Fit If You

• Require a high base salary to perform

• Have only SaaS or unrelated sales experience

• Are uncomfortable discussing margins and operational constraints

• Prefer transactional, short-cycle sales over long-term relationships

Why EOS

• Multi-location 3PL with real operational infrastructure

• Clear pricing, approval, and onboarding processes

• Strong leadership and operational support

• No bait-and-switch compensation practices

• Opportunity to build true recurring income with a growing logistics provider

Hiring Process

  1. Initial qualification call
  2. Operational fit and scenario discussion
  3. Compensation and expectation alignment
  4. 90-day validation period

How to Apply

If you have logistics sales experience and are interested in a commission-based role with long-term upside, please submit your resume or a brief summary of your background and relevant experience.
