Essential Job Duties
The FAA Construction Inspector will inspect, monitor, document, and make field decisions for construction in compliance with FAA requirements at commercial aviation airports. The successful applicant must be able to interpret plans and specifications and make decisions regarding compliance with these plans. The candidate must be capable of rigorous physical activity, as the job entails significant physical demands. The role includes responsibilities such as inspecting FAA construction, providing technical and field support, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications. The inspector will communicate and interact with owners, contractors, engineers, and other inspectors/technicians, write daily field reports in digital format, and participate in meetings. Additionally, the inspector will exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources, adhering to Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required by business needs.

- Inspect FAA construction and provide technical and field support.
- Monitor construction work for compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Communicate and interact with owners, contractors, engineers, and other inspectors/technicians.
- Write daily field reports in digital format.
Required Qualification:- Years of Experience/Education/Certificates/Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10 years' experience in FAA inspections
- Willing and able to work nights if needed.
- Able to pass security background checks for access to secured areas of airports.
- General knowledge of airfield marking and lighting.
- Experience performing QA/QC during construction.
- Dependability, honesty, and integrity.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe PDFs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Starting Salary range for this job is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment
