Position: Commercial HVAC / Sheet Metal Installer & Journeyman HVAC Installer & Refrigeration Installer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $25.00 - $56.90 per hour DOE (Depending on experience and certifications)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts

Location: San Bernardino, CA (On-site)

Job Summary

As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and sheet metal components. You’ll work with a team of professionals on various commercial projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork and components
• Perform welding, copper brazing, and plumbing related to HVAC and refrigeration
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Operate company vehicles safely for job site transportation
• Provide excellent customer service on site
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or certification strongly preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Minimum 4 years experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or sheet metal installation
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
  
  

Physical & Work Environment

• Work is primarily on commercial job sites in various environments, including outdoors, mechanical rooms, and rooftops
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
• Exposure to noise, temperature extremes, dust, and chemicals (refrigerants)
