When a child or adult with a developmental disability is unable to live with their family of origin, Envision’s Family Living Program links them with screened, trained and certified foster families for therapeutic foster care, shared living, and respite services. We are excited to announce that Envision is currently seeking Providers!
If you have ever considered opening your home and heart to an individual in need of respite/foster placement where they can have opportunities to be a part of a family and their needs can be met, this is the perfect opportunity!
Envision’s Family Living Providers are compensated and reimbursed for expenses through Envision and will receive any necessary training prior to placements of individuals within their home. Individuals placed in the home will receive supports from the agency provider and a Care Coordinator who helps to supervise service delivery.
Care Coordinators are there to assist providers in ensuring all necessary documentation and care is satisfactorily executed – taking the unknowns out of the equation and helping our providers and individuals to succeed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a dedicated vacant bedroom space for the intended individual
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have valid license and auto insurance with less than 6 points on driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
