- Assist with federal and state income tax compliance, including preparation of tax basis balance sheet
- Assist with federal and state income tax accounting related to domestic operations, year-end income tax provision
- Assist with fixed asset DD&A calculations and processes
- Assist with federal excise tax calculations and annual report filings
- Support IRS audit cycle workstream, as applicable
- Special projects and research for domestic compliance and accounting issues
- Assist non-tax EOG teams with various domestic research, questions, audits, and calculations
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2 years federal and state corporate income tax and partnership experience
- Must be very detail oriented, with multi-tasking capabilities
- Requires strong working relationships with various groups within the Tax Department
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally with other corporate departments and various levels of management
- Requires CPA license or actively pursuing
- Prefers Alteryx experience
- Prefers CorpTax experience
- Oil and Gas industry experience a plus
- Income tax accounting experience a plus
