Job Description

Pharmacist in Charge for closed door pharmacy/Ephraim McDowell Senior Care Pharmacy. Oversees prescription processing and compliance packaging, electronic MARs for assisted living facilities, patients needing assistance with medication dose packs, home care patients and long term care patients. Directs technician support team, primary contact for facilities and billing. Expands and grows compliance packing service line. Cross covers/supports Ephraim McDowell Bluegrass Drug Store when LTC work demand allows or BG volume demands. Manages compliance for 340b eligible claims and accumulator savings for inventory. Available after hours for emergent needs.
