Position Description: Summary: Keeps premises apartment house, or other commercial building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
2. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
3. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
4. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
5. Dusts furniture and equipment.
6. Polishes metalwork.
7. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
8. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
9. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
10. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
11. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
12. Replaces light bulbs.
13. Cuts and trims grass, and shovels snow.
14. Delivers messages.
15. Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
