The Market Analyst/PSD creates and manages business development tools and information ensuring strategic deliverables with a heavy focus on growth and customer/market share management. This role supports the PSD Product and Application Specialists with proactive sales activities and market pricing development. Managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence, allowing the successful candidate to plan, focus and complete assigned tasks on schedule are expectations of the role.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze market data to identify trends/ opportunities, assist with the development of strategic direction from market information and create compelling market analysis presentations
- Create value-added tools and information related to sales and customer management initiatives and sales campaigns including market potentials, pricing, cost estimates and profitability
- Support PSD Product and Application Specialists with the administration of the Custom Engineered Solutions (CES) process and market pricing related activities; including parts pricing review and PSD company pricing logic analysis and implementation for all aftermarket business lines
- Collaborate with all business lines to create increased market and customer share opportunities
- Assist with market pricing related activities, including parts pricing review and PSD EPL analysis and implementation for PSD, RDT (Rock Drilling Tools) and HAT (Hydraulic Attachment Tools) business lines
- Develop Certiq data collection reports with quantifiable recommendations to respective business lines
- Pinpoint opportunities for improvement and develop technical solutions
- Maintain courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or the equivalent relevant work experience
- Proven experience in sales/marketing databases and software
- Understanding of sales/marketing flow of information
- Must possess high standards of quality and accuracy
- Strong follow through on delegated tasks and assignments
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills are required
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office products, (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are required including Excel proficiency with formulas, pivot tables and VBA a plus; AR-400 (BPCS), ERP systems knowledge, PowerBI knowledge/experience are highly preferred
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative techniques to develop performance reports and analysis of data
- Aptitude to implement data-visualization tools to ease data comprehension
- Able to make informed and justifiable decisions in areas of specialty and expertise
- Up to 25% travel is expected; usually involving Epiroc Service Center locations in the US

Pay Range:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year (This is a salaried position. Compensation determination based upon job related factors, such as experience, education, geographic location and other criterion).
