Associate Director, Brand Marketing
Greater San Francisco Bay (on-site 3 days a week)
A rare disease, specialty pharmaceutical company with a recent, successful launch is seeking an experienced Patient Marketing individual to join their organization. This position will be crucial in developing and executing marketing strategies to target rare disease patient populations, driving education and awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead critical initiatives in patient brand strategy, providing key input on planning items across all patient activities.
- Lead the creation and execution of branded and unbranded patient promotional tactics.
- Identify patient ambassadors and lead community educational programs.
- In conjunction with Patient Advocacy, identify patient speakers and plan community outreach events targeted towards the patient population.
- Assess changes in market dynamics and leverage market research insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Cross functional collaboration with internal patient advocacy teams to identify opportunities for educational partnerships with advocacy organizations.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years industry experience, 2 years of experience Patient or Brand Marketing (Rare Disease or Cardiovascular experience preferred)
- Experience relaying complex science to patient audiences to educate and inform relevant populations.
- Excellent communicator with a self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams/levels within the organization while exhibiting strong leadership skills.
