VC Summers Electrical Engineer
Length of Assignment: 1 year Possibility to Extend based on performance
Primary location of assignment: VC Summers
What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? Yes HIGH preference for local and drive in candidates.
If you are open to looking at non-local candidates will per diem be offered? Yes - ***/day (GSA) must live further than 50 miles from primary site location to qualify for per diem
What schedule is the candidate required to work: Generally, 40 hours a week standard schedule 5 8s
Are any certification required: EIT or PE license preferred but not required

High Level Project Overview:
VC Summer is implementing a Capital Motor Replacement/Refurbishment project, with other potential capital assets being considered following this model. This project will focus on the removal and reinstallation of medium and low voltage motors, either for refurbishment or replacement with a spare motor. Engineering will support the implementation planning and execution, in addition to any potential modifications and engineering work to enable replacements.
Preferred Years of Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the commercial nuclear industry
1-2 years of experience with a Capital projects
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
