MAINTENANCE MANAGER/ COORDINATOR
Seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Manager/Coordinator for an FAA Part 141 Flight School. Must have current A & P with inspection authorization. Must live within 1 hour of Boire Field (Nashua, N.H.) Operating Cessna, Beechcraft, and Diamond aircraft.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER/ COORDINATOR
Reports to: the Director of Operations, General Manager, Chief Operations Officer, and ultimately to the Chief Executive Officer. Works collaboratively with the Chief Flight Instructor.
Qualifications Required: A minimum of 3 years in Aviation Related Maintenance or Administrative Functions
Function: Mechanic, Airframe and Powerplant, with IA
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performs the administrative responsibilities of the Maintenance Department.
2. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
3. Schedule daily maintenance on aircraft according to priority on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for planning. (Per weekly meeting)
4. Manage maintenance projects/inspections with scheduling, ordering parts, compliance documentation archival.
5. Check T-sheets daily and make sure work hours are accounted for properly
6. Review discrepancies in Veryon/Flightdocs from staff
7. Assign and/or inspect pre- and post-flights are completed on aircraft
8. Assure building maintenance is completed: Trash, floors, OSHA, compliance/safety issues (cords and equipment not a trip hazard, etc.)
9. Scheduling of maintenance staff, to ensure jobs are completed as necessary and inform General Manager or COO if overtime, staggered shifts, or outside maintenance is needed.
10. Analyze and conduct scheduling and workload planning to ensure maximum efficiency and full compliance with maintenance requirements.
11. Monitor, forecast and coordinate the scheduling of both short and intermediate-range maintenance requirements on aircraft.
12. Effectively and efficiently, utilizing company computer systems to identify maintenance aircraft requirements and assigned/capable vendor operations, ensuring timely compliance.
13. Monitor aircraft status and station operations and coordinate routing/rerouting aircraft to facilitate any operational irregularities while maintaining the integrity of the maintenance plan and established company performance objectives
14. Coordinate and communicate all “day of” operational changes affecting the maintenance plan, and resolve conflicts between the maintenance and the daily operational schedules.
15. Provide constant oversight of the short-range maintenance plan, advising the DOM, COO, and CEO, of any irregularities/conflicts affecting the maintenance schedule.
16. Balance station workload: coordinate with Out-Stations (if out stations exist) on overnight or out-based work plans, ensuring scheduled maintenance optimizes station capacity and capabilities.
17. Coordinate with internal, functional departments to ensure parts, material, tooling, and workforce are available for the work to be scheduled.
18. Coordinate with OCC personnel for ferry or repositioning of scheduled maintenance aircraft
19. Transmit work orders and schedules to the production units
20. Work closely with MOC & Fleet administration personnel in tracking and scheduling default/deferred maintenance items.
21. Provides daily turnover communication of the fellow team members of critical tasks and items of importance.
22. Ensure all specified policies, practices and procedures are complied with.
23. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
24. Must actively participate in the Company Safety Management System (SMS).
25. Determines personnel requirements and assignments based on present and projected workloads and schedules.
26. Responsible for making available to all departments the necessary overhaul manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and any other required technical data.
27. Maintains aircraft logbooks and records.
28. Ensures that all tools, equipment and facilities are maintained in a serviceable and working condition and are calibrated to NIST traceable standards (where required).
29. Responsible for initiating requisitions for stock and materials as required.
30. Orders anticipated parts, lubricants, etc., in sufficient quantity to ensure no aircraft downtime for those items within practical economic guidelines.
31. May perform RII inspections when qualified.
