Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment in our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems; knowledge of Toast is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
• A passion for culinary arts and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with guests effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: From $3.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
