Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, Qualification, Metallurgical, Corrosion, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Fatigue, Tensile, Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Micro Sectioning, Hardness, Porosity, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, Impact, Wear, etc.)
- Design Engineering (FEA, Fatigue)
- Engineering Drawings (AutoCAD)
- Solid Modeling (SolidWorks, ProE, and/or CATIA)
- Robot Programming (Fanuc and/or ABB products)
- Technical Data Publication and Review
- Perform other duties as requested
Candidate Skills & Capabilities:
- Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling
- Technical Writing
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical and Corrosion Testing a plus
- Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis a plus
- CNC Programming and machining experience is a plus
- Robot Programming a plus
- Electrical Experience a plus
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Metallurgical, Materials Science and Engineering) from an ABET accredited university or college. Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Entry Level to 8 years of related experience
- Aerospace Industry experience a plus

Other Requirements:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
