Join Us as a Quality Control Inspector

A Quality Control position demands a meticulous individual with a strong aptitude for using inspection tools such as calipers, measuring tape, pin gauges, angle protractors, and squares. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and conducting mechanical inspections to ensure precision and accuracy in accepting our manufactured materials. With a keen eye for detail, the Quality Control Level 1 professional is adept at working with minimal supervision, meticulously scrutinizing every aspect of design and content to guarantee adherence to the ESL brand guidelines. SUMMARY

Responsible for machining and custom fabrication of raw material based on blue prints, machining parts to specifications while under the general supervision of the production supervisor and department leads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricates a wide variety of metal components through the set-up and operation of lathes, sharpeners, milling machines, drill presses, punch press, and similar equipment, gauging work carefully by using precision measurement tools.
• Knowledge and set up / operation of CNC Haas milling machine VF2.
• Designs and creates jigs and fixtures.
• Assist for first articles and design prep with management.
• Repairs and maintains machine shop equipment.
• Perform other duties / tasks as assigned.
• Sustains 5S in workstations.
• Practices ESL’s core values on a daily basis.
• Use lean practices and processes to keep department efficient
• Follow safety procedures and wear required Proper Protective Equipment.
