Afternoon Early Childhood Teacher's Aide

Especially for Children in Inver Grove Heights seeks an afternoon float teacher to join our teaching team. Teacher qualified candidates are also encouraged to apply and rate of pay would be adjusted accordingly.

EFC is a local- and family-owned organization providing quality educational childcare for young children since 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.

Part-time shift will start at 2:00 pm and end around 5:45 or 6:00 pm. The opportunity to expand into full-time may be available, as enrollment numbers at the center grow.

We seek an aide, assistant teacher or teacher who:

• Relates positively with young children and families
• Has previous experience in a childcare center or school
• Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well a safe environment for young children
• Works cooperatively with other team members
