Position Summary: We are looking for a Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The NP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support for pediatric and adolescent patients in a collaborative, hybrid (telehealth and in-person) setting. Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management for children and adolescents Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers Develop and implement individualized care plans Provide patient and family education around medications, treatment options, and wellness strategies Participate in case conferences and care coordination Accurately document patient encounters using EMR Support the expansion of pediatric mental health services across the community Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Active and unrestricted New York State NP license 3 years of experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a hybrid care model (in-person and telehealth) Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Knowledge of community-based or urban healthcare systems Why Work at Essen Healthcare?
