Job Description

Administers anesthesia to patients of all ages in the operating room, delivery room, and provides other related services as needed in other patient care areas according to Medical Center policies and procedures.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) must possess a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of current principles and methods of general, regional and local anesthetics.
• Able to function in stressful and emergent situations.

Licensure/Certifications

• Holds a current license in the state of practice.
• Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Re-certified per the NBCRNA.
• Holds current BCLS/ACLS certification.

Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
