Job Description:
Seeking individuals ready to start a new career! If you are interested in getting into the medical field this is a great entry level position. Essentia will pay for your training to receive your Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Once you pass your test, you will be promoted to a CNA, including a raise and a schedule. The Nursing Assistant - Student program offers a NO COST training to individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Essentia Health. The program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam to become a CNA. EARN INCOME while training - providing indirect care to patients. Here's what the training will consist of: ~Responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assigned ~Help maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents. ~Assist with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water pass ~Provides activity and exercise for the residents as assigned ~Assists residents in dealing with psychosocial needs ~Responsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor ~Completes all required documentation in a complete and timely manner ~May assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
