What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician ABA position at Essential ABA Consulting?

As a Part-Time Behavior Technician, you will work directly with a preschool-aged child with autism in their home. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized ABA therapy sessions under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping the child develop essential life skills and reach their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy programs as outlined by the BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one support to the child during therapy sessions.
  • Collect and record data on the child’s progress.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with the child’s family to provide updates and support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with autism preferred
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability after school hours from 4-7, Tuesday to Friday
  • Reliable transportation to travel to the child’s home.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
