Part-Time Spa Receptionist
Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible hours for Saturday)
We are looking for a Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our award-winning spa and the key person who keeps our front desk and operations running smoothly. This role combines customer service, scheduling, and light back-of-house support, and is ideal for someone who works well independently, takes initiative, and enjoys creating an inviting client experience.
As our Receptionist, you will greet clients, manage appointments, handle calls and emails, maintain a clean and organized front desk, and assist with light spa upkeep. You will often be working independently, so strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Schedule, update, and reschedule client appointments
- Direct clients to the correct provider or area
- Answer, screen, and forward calls professionally
- Provide basic, accurate information in person, by phone, and via email
- Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with necessary materials (pens, forms, brochures)
- Handle incoming mail and deliveries
- Assist with preparing service rooms and maintaining a clean spa environment
- Rotate and clean laundry for service providers
- Track basic office expenses and supply needs
- Support occasional social media posting and client communication
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role
- Professional, polished appearance and demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident using scheduling software and basic office tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently without constant supervision
- Resourceful, proactive problem-solver
- Familiarity with social media etiquette a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
