Job Requirements
We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at Oakley. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting issues with systems, and implementing solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Engineers and Tech Support Technicians to improve automated equipment
* Troubleshoot issues with systems, identifying mechanical, electrical or computer-related problems
* Implement solutions to prevent recurring problems
* Assist with applications development, as needed
* Maintain, service and document equipment changes, providing feedback to Tech Support and Automation teams
Qualifications
* Associates degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or certification from technical training program in electrical repair and maintenance
* 3 years' experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment
* Analytical skills to understand automated systems and isolate problems
* Familiarity with controls software
* Working understanding of DC, AC and stepper motors, PLC and digital I/O logic, various sensors
* Experience with 120V-220V and 3 phase 480VAC
* VFD/PLC/HMI troubleshooting experience
* 3 years of experience working in a Manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of robotics/HMI/PLC
* Microsoft Office skills
* Problem solving skills, ability to get and analyze information
* Team player with a "can do" attitude
