Position Summary: Provides support/administrative assistance to attorney(s) to enhance attorney effectiveness and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to, copying, printing, indexing, answering/directing telephone calls, greeting clients, etc.
- Assist with organization of case files, case management system, client database, etc.
- Maintain appointment/meeting calendar and coordinate related logistics.
- Correspond with clients, attorneys, courts/government offices, and other third parties.
- Manage legal documentation and other correspondence/communication in accordance with confidentiality requirements.
- Support case preparation by gathering information, organizing exhibits, note-taking, assembling legal documents for filing, and other services requested by the attorney(s).
- Record/file legal documents at Bureau of Conveyances, courts, etc., as necessary.
- Draft, review, and edit memoranda, correspondence, and legal documents.
- Assist with accounting and billing.
- Coordinate and implement processes for efficient office administration.
- Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- 2 years’ working experience as a legal assistant (preferred).
- Computer and technological knowledge (Windows/PC, Microsoft Office, etc.) There will be a short test.
- Able to drive a vehicle
- US work authorization
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong reading comprehension and analysis abilities.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong time management skills and able to perform multiple tasks.
- Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Work is normally performed in an office work environment.
- No or very limited physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
- Some travel required.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000
Benefits: 15 days PTO (Paid Time Off) after 12 months
