Job Title : Lab Technician
Laboratory technician responsible for assisting principal investigators in the conduct of pesticide residue analyses and environmental fate studies. This position will involve laboratory testing including preparation of reagents and calibration standards, weighing and preparation of samples from various matrices (e.g., plant, soil, water, animal, etc) for analysis via HPLC or LC-MS/MS, conducting studies under Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and QC review of data. Qualification: experience with wet chemistry, calibration of analytical equipment and following SOPs. Following GLP documentation and regulations. Interacting with LIMS systems. Experience with HPLC or LC-MS/MS desirable. Experience or comfort working with radioactivity a plus. 1-3 Years of Experience
