Job Title: RN - ICU

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, high-acuity care to adult patients in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults, including comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and managing complex health conditions.
• Monitoring: Monitor and interpret vital signs, manage life-support systems, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the EPIC charting system.
• Adaptability: Float to other critical care units as needed within the hospital.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Experience in a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility preferred.
• License:
• Valid PA or Compact RN License (Required).
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in EPIC charting.
  

Additional Details

• Patient Ratio: Ranges from 1:1 to 3:1.
• Shift Schedule:
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday.
• On-Call: No on-call required.
• Floating: Required within the critical care float pool.
