What are the responsibilities and job description for the Formulation Technician position at Eterna Management?
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for maintaining a clean lab, including infrastructure and equipment.
- Formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line as needed.
- Assist the filling line staff in preparation and tear down of equipment as needed.
- Assist packaging and other departments as needed.
- Responsible for data entry for any and all processes being carried out
- Operate analytical and chromatography equipment where necessary
- Operating filling line equipment where necessary
- Ensuring the effective execution of processing tasks within established company policy, procedure and requirements
- Responsible for identifying and notifying the processing supervisor of any issues during extraction, refinement, purification, and distillation that deviate from the norm or can interfere with product quality
- Assist with extraction and refinement production activities
- Maintain high quality lab documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and SOPs
- Responsible for carrying out duties involving post extraction of crude oil. This included operating and maintaining equipment for winterization, filtration, and evaporation
- Responsible for maintaining a clean lab, including infrastructure equipment
- Assisting extraction team with preparation of materials for the days extractions as well as helping tear down, turn around, and set back up extraction equipment as needed
- Assisting in the formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line as needed
- Assist packaging and other departments as needed
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Execution of procedures under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager
- Execute various laboratory protocols as instructed in established SOPs or as directed by laboratory leadership
