Position Summary:
The Construction Crew Member is responsible for the construction of outside plant to establish, expand and maintain service to customers. Completion of these responsibilities has impact on service provision timelines and quality of service for customers.

Position Duties:
- Construct lines to homes, out buildings, businesses, and other locations to assure efficient and functional service.
- Repair damaged lines to put customers back in service.
- Cut over new buried or bored facilities when replacing old ones.
- Observe and adhere to safe and efficient operation of equipment and procedures.
Experience:
- Prefer 1-3 years of related experience. Must be able to operate a variety of construction equipment (backhoe, plow, truck hoist, directional drill, pneumatic punch, etc.), use hand tools/test equipment, and forklift. Must have knowledge of basic electricity, electronics, cable fault location and mechanics.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Requires ability to read, write, perform basic math, understand maps, and technical instructions. Must be trained on easements and ROW.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s Class - C driver's license. Must have or be able to acquire a Class – A CDL.
Safety Requirements:
- Must comply with all company policies, regulations, traffic laws, safety rules, and safe practices when driving a Cooperative vehicle and be properly licensed to operate said vehicle. Must also attend any safety training as directed and observe safety policies, rules, regulations, and laws in the performance of duties.
Salary : $34,500 - $43,700
