We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant for a 79 years old lady in Newington. She has Anxiety and Depression, but very nice, walks with walker, likes to go shopping and for a ride.
Scheduling- Mon, Wed, Fri 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm.
A caregiver must have a vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized assistance with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing according to the client's preferences.
- Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive relationship with the individual under your care.
- Assist with mobility, physical therapy exercises, and other activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document vital signs under supervision to maintain the client's health and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the client's environment.
- Support with meal preparation, laundry, and other daily tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the client and their family members to ensure proper care instructions are followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Certification or training in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
