Job Description
The Assay Operations Team within the Quantitative Bioscience department is looking for an experienced, highly motivated team member to use laboratory automation specifically to support ELISA assay workflows in Vaccine Research. Situated in the Assay Operations group, the individual will have the following responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot both integrated and stand–alone laboratory robotic systems and peripherals to support ELISA assay workflows
Learn about assays used in vaccine development and how to transform them to high–
throughput assays using various liquid handlers and robotic platforms
Collaborate with colleagues within the department and on multi–disciplinary discovery project teams to shape and execute ELISA assay strategy to align with project and departmental goals
Work in BSL2 research environment and comply with all laboratory safety requirements
Work with industry–standard data analysis tools and record keeping, including electronic lab books and analysis software to properly document and report experimental findings and assay protocols
