Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford , TX.

• This position is expected to assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.
• Prepare samples from processing
• Accepts and signs for deliveries.
• Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
• Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
• Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.
• Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
• Enters records in LIMS system
  
  

This role will also serve as a back up driver as needed.

Qualifications

• Clean Driving Record
• High School or GED
• Customer Service Oriented
• Good Oral and written English language skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  
  

Additional Information

This is a full-time position Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm with possible overtime.

Training will take place Monday to from 9 am to 6 pm.

compensation: $20 /hour.
