About the Role
Europerfumes is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our accounting team and support daily financial operations. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
- 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and standard formulas
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Strong work ethic and a long-term career mindset
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Support
- Maintain accounts payable entries and records across multiple Europerfumes entities
- Ensure vendor invoices are entered accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and payments
- Track and post recurring entries in accordance with GAAP
- Monitor recurring expenses and follow up on missing or incorrect items
- Ensure all supporting documentation is properly filed electronically
- Track income tax payments and installment due dates
- Maintain accurate records of tax-related correspondence
Accounts Receivable Support
- Apply payments to open accounts receivable
- Reconcile retailer portal statements with open AR and chargebacks
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain key financial reports in Excel
- Assist with optimizing and automating recurring reports
- Support research into cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain and update brand spend tracking
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year
